Devil: The British Secret Agent exceeded my very low expectations and ended up being a very good movie. However, there are a few things that could have been better, such as dialogues, clothing, and personality traits, which seemed a bit out of sync with the pre-independent india setting. Also, the climax battle suffers from laughably bad choreography, which could be a sign of a change in direction during that particular sequence, which was directed by abhishek nama, whereas the rest of the movie maintained the same style under the original uncredited director. While the film’s score is generally good, it sometimes drowns out dialogues, making them inaudible.
