Summary
Overdose is a 2022 French film directed by Olivier Marchaland. This is an adaptation of the novel Mortels Trafics by Pierre Pouchairet, winner of the Quai des Orfèvres Prize 2017.
Plot
Sara heads the Toulouse narcotics brigade . She is informed by Reynal, her former lover, that the gang in which he is infiltrated is preparing a go fast between Spain and France . At the same time, Richard, head of the Paris criminal brigade , begins an investigation into the murder of two teenagers at the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital .
During a shootout in Catalonia with the Guarda Civil , Leïla, a member of the gang, is killed and left behind. As his DNA matches traces found at the hospital, Richard decides to contact Sara.
